Our local photo club has an exhibit at the Gumtree Museum of Art in Tupelo, MS through September 23rd entitled "Art Fusion."  It is a collaboration between a photographer from the club and an artist of their choosing where the artist interprets the chosen photo in their medium. Some choose to copy... others choose to go a different direction.

In my case I chose as one of my images as selection from the Mississippi Delta gallery for my artist to interpret.  My artist is Clyde McDowell, who is a folk artist from New Albany, MS.  He is always coming up with things that really amaze me and I often wonder where those ideas came from.

My photograph and his interpretation took third place out of 42 entries in the show.
